Find Your Staples ("we", "us") runs findyourstaples.com. Questions about this policy: support@findyourstaples.com.
Your answers
Your quiz answers and your progress are saved in your own browser (local storage) so you can pick up where you left off. Clearing your browser data removes them there.
When you pay, your answers are sent once to our server so it can build the emailed copy of your result. They are used for that one email and then discarded: we do not store them or keep them in logs. The email itself, which contains your result, is delivered through Resend.
What we collect
- Your email address, when you give it to us, and your first name if you chose to give one in the quiz. If you pay, we email you a link to your result through Resend. Only if you tick “Also send me occasional tips” do they also go to our email provider (Kit), so we can send you those emails, addressed to you by name. Unsubscribe in one click from any email.
- Payment details are taken by Stripe. We never see or store your card number. We receive confirmation that a payment succeeded and the email you used.
- Ad and usage data. We use the Meta (Facebook) pixel and the TikTok pixel to measure which ads lead to the quiz and to purchases. They record events such as starting the quiz, finishing it, giving an email and buying. They do not receive your quiz answers.
Who else handles data
Stripe (payments), Kit (email list), Resend (delivering your result by email), Meta and TikTok (advertising measurement), and Vercel (hosting). Each has its own privacy policy. We do not sell your data.
Your rights
You can ask us to see, correct or delete the email we hold for you, and you can object to marketing at any time. Write to support@findyourstaples.com. If you are in the EU or UK you can also complain to your data protection authority.
Cookies
The quiz itself uses local storage rather than cookies. Meta's and TikTok's pixels may set cookies for advertising measurement.
